Certification of our jewelry

We understand that some customers want (well beyond a simple transaction based on trust and the reputation of the site) to ensure that they have the quality of the jewelry corresponding to their expectations. This is why we are going to explain our policy regarding the authenticity of our materials.

*(As explained in the “Our Materials” section, for reasons of confidentiality, but also competition, we cannot provide the legal identity of our suppliers).

Metals (solid silver and gold filled)

Our metals, whether solid silver or gold filled, come directly from our partner based in the United States, one of the world's leading suppliers of gold filled.

Certified according to international standards for silver and gold filled, and a distinguished member of the “Jewelers Board of Trade” as well as “Professional Excellence in Jewelry Making and Design”, this lasting collaboration guarantees us to offer you quality jewelry at a balanced price.

Each piece of jewelry that we make bears a distinctive hallmark, attesting to the quality of the metal. So you will systematically notice the “s925” hallmark for solid silver and “14KGF 1/20” for filled gold (except on certain models e.g. “braided ring” where for aesthetic reasons marking is not possible) .

Natural stones and pearls

We have the honor of collaborating with renowned partners, not only certified, but also recognized for their rigor, transparency and reliability. These privileged relationships allow us to continually raise our standards to offer you creations that are both unique and varied.

Our carefully selected natural stones come directly from the most renowned lapidaries and family businesses firmly established in the heart of India's legendary cities, such as Jaipur and Bengaluru. Each stone tells a story, shaped by the ancestral know-how and modern techniques of these emblematic regions.

For our pearls, we trust the world leader located in the province of Zhejiang, China. This region, often referred to as the cradle of pearls, stands out not only for its vast production, but also for the unrivaled quality of its freshwater pearls, representing almost 90% of global production.

Documentation

Our partners are subject to regular checks by prestigious entities such as GIA (United States), MGTL (India) and CTOM (China), thus ensuring their compliance with standards established. Although we are the final artisans of the jewelry made from these materials, we do not offer a certificate of authenticity at this time. This is due to financial considerations and regulations that make this approach optional. We will detail these reasons for a better understanding.

In the jewelry industry, there is an often misunderstood perception regarding certification, partly due to a tendency to emphasize the legal aspect of products in a superficial way. In fact, two types of documents, fundamentally distinct, can be perceived in a similar way by the client:

  • Generic Document: Presented with care, often in the form of a card, this certificate has no legal value. Although used by many stores, both physical and online (except large brands), it does not guarantee in-depth expertise of the jewelry concerned. In reality, it is similar to a “sworn declaration”, mainly intended to establish trust with the customer, based largely on their perception and trust in the brand.
  • Official Document: This document certifies that the jewelry has been evaluated by a competent organization and specifically identifies the piece with a serial number and its characteristics. It is an expensive process (as an individual it costs on average €50-150 to appraise a piece/stone), and generally accessible to major brands in collaboration with experts or independent laboratories. This is the true “certificate of authenticity”, legally recognized for its precision and validity.

Having clarified the nature of documentations, it is essential to emphasize that generic documentation, despite its prevalence, is primarily a rhetorical way of appeasing customers. We have chosen not to take this approach, as our goal is to anchor our relationship with the community in trust and transparency.

Regarding official documentation, it is not required for costume jewelry whose characteristics do not exceed 3gr of solid gold, 30gr of solid silver and a certain quality of precious stones. Although this approach represents a cost, it remains optional from a legal point of view. However, it adds significant value and builds trust, especially for more attentive customers.

It is important to note that access to this expertise is not universal. As a small family business, we do not currently have the financial means or the partnerships necessary to certify each of our parts. However, rest assured, we guarantee each of our jewels that end up in your hands and provide you with unconditional assistance if you encounter the slightest difficulty. Do not hesitate to contact us for help or additional information if necessary!
