Certification of our jewelry

We understand that some customers want to ensure they receive jewelry of a quality that meets their expectations, going far beyond a simple transaction based on trust and the site's reputation. That's why we're going to explain our policy regarding the authenticity of our materials.

*(As explained in the "Our Materials" section) (For reasons of confidentiality, but also of competition, we cannot provide the legal identity of our suppliers).

The metals (solid silver and gold-filled)

Our metals, whether solid silver or gold filled, come directly from our US-based partner, one of the world’s leading suppliers of gold filled.

Certified according to international standards for silver and gold-filled jewelry, and a prominent member of the Jewellers Board of Trade and Professional Excellence in Jewelry Making and Design, this long-standing collaboration guarantees that we can offer you high-quality jewelry. at a balanced price.

Each piece of jewelry we make bears a distinctive hallmark, attesting to the quality of the metal. You will always see the hallmark "s925" for sterling silver and "14KGF 1/20" for gold-filled pieces (except on certain models, e.g., "braided rings," where marking is not possible for aesthetic reasons).

Natural stones and pearls

We are honored to collaborate with renowned partners, not only certified but also recognized for their rigor, transparency, and reliability. These privileged relationships allow us to continually raise our standards to offer you unique and diverse creations.

Our meticulously selected natural stones come directly from the most renowned lapidaries and family businesses firmly established in the heart of legendary Indian cities such as Jaipur and Bengaluru. Each stone tells a story, shaped by the ancestral know-how and modern techniques of these iconic regions.

For our pearls, we rely on the world leader located in Zhejiang province, China. This region, often referred to as the cradle of pearls, is distinguished not only by its vast production, but also by the unparalleled quality of its freshwater pearls, representing nearly 90% of global production.

Documentation

Our partners undergo regular audits by prestigious organizations such as the GIA (USA), MGTL (India), and CTOM (China), ensuring their compliance with established standards. Although we are the final artisans of the jewelry crafted from these materials, we do not currently offer certificates of authenticity. This is due to financial considerations and regulations that make this process optional. We will explain these reasons in more detail for clarity.

In the jewelry industry, there is a perception that is often misunderstood. regarding certification, partly due to a tendency to highlight the legal aspect of products in a superficial way. In fact, two fundamentally distinct types of documents can be perceived similarly by the client:

  • Generic Document: Presented with care, often in the form of a card, this certificate has no legal value. Although used by many shops, both physical and online (excluding major chains), it does not guarantee a thorough appraisal of the piece of jewelry in question. In reality, it is similar to a "declaration of honor", primarily intended to establish trust with the customer, largely based on their perception of and trust in the brand.
  • Official Document: This document certifies that the piece of jewelry has been appraised by a competent body and specifically identifies the item with a serial number and its characteristics. It is an expensive process (as an individual, it costs on average €50-150 to have a piece/stone appraised), and generally accessible to Major brands collaborate with experts or independent laboratories. This is the genuine "certificate of authenticity," legally recognized for its accuracy and validity.

Having clarified the nature of the documentation, it is essential to emphasize that generic documentation, despite its prevalence, is primarily a rhetorical way to reassure clients. We have chosen not to adopt this approach, as our goal is to build our relationship with the community on trust and transparency.

Regarding official documentation, it is not required for costume jewelry containing no more than 3 grams of solid gold, 30 grams of sterling silver, and a certain quality of gemstones. While this process does involve a cost, it remains optional from a legal standpoint. However, it adds significant value and strengthens trust, especially for discerning customers.

It's important to note that access to this expertise isn't universal. As a small family business, we don't currently have the financial resources or partnerships to certify each of our pieces. However, rest assured, we stand behind every piece of jewelry that ends up in your hands and offer unconditional support should you encounter any difficulties. So please don't hesitate to contact us for help or further information if needed!
